This blog is for the nuclear medicine students at UMDNJ
This week I started PET. It is not as difficult as the physics of it actually is. The imaging part of it is rather simple. Inject, wait 1hr post injection, image the patient. Positioning protocol is followed based on patient diagnoses and clinical site protocol. It is actually less chaotic than nuclear.
